- Suzy France Review added: 2018.05.22★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆This certainly isn't a gastropub of any kind, yet it offers a bit more than a pub that happens to do food. The result is a confusing experience.
We pre-booked a table for Sunday lunch, when we arrived we were first ignored and then greeted with "where did I put the diary?". We were then just gestured towards a table in the corner, which clearly wasn't reserved.
We had one menu between 4 of us, and were ignored for quite a while. We had to ask how we order drinks, to be told they would take the order and we could collect the drinks from the bar. Is this table service or not?
The only thing stopping me from giving 1 star is that the food was fairly decent - good portions, veg cooked well and was pretty cheap.
I wouldn't visit again or recommend it, and I'd advise that they either offer a proper dining experience with table service or just be like a spoons so you order it all at the bar, pay upfront and get a table number. - Des Bartlett Review added: 2017.12.25★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Friendly enough place.
